Rachel + Mike's wedding was filled with endless love + joy – as you will sense from looking at their beautiful photos, taken by Jenny Naima.
It’s hard not to fall in love with their eclectic DIY inspired wedding held at Eolia Mansion in Waterford, CT.
Rachel, Founder of Shoppe Winsome - pretty details for gifts, home, + party décor - wanted to incorporate her crafty & beautiful DIY projects into the design of her + Mike's wedding.
With a little help from Amy, Rachel was able to make her vision come alive.
Rachel's inner artist resulted in her stunning custom gown. For the ceremony, she wore a fitted lace jacket, and later, for the reception + dancing, she removed the full skirt + lace jacket and added a fun, chunky + pearl, necklace.
Not to mention - her gold high top sneakers + Jimmy Choo heels!
Each table was uniquely created – white votive candles, golden branches, + bud vases were layered upon Kraft paper & moss table runners, accentuating gold + green.
Rachel wanted her bridesmaids to feel absolutely beautiful + comfortable so they each picked a dress in their own style, in hues of pink + gold. The groomsmen each wore their own choice of brightly colored socks!
Rachel + Mike’s love for one another is truly contagious - anyone around them immediately feels a sense of belonging.
